This handcrafted New Zealand jade Toki pendant by featured artist Alex Sands is a beautiful expression of traditional Māori artistry. The Toki (adze) was the revered tool used to carve the great wāka (canoes) and the intricate details of the wharenui (meeting houses)  a symbol of skill, creativity, and the unity of head, hand, and heart.
