At Blondies, we are proud to celebrate artists like Alex whose craft honours generations of tradition. The Toki (adze) was the tool used to carve the great wāka (canoes) and the intricate details of the meeting houses  a symbol of the creative spirit, the coming together of head, hand, and heart.
